The Temple of the Wine is a wine-cellar in a museum-shop Centre of the Wine. It is situated in the central part of Varna and very near to the most popular museums and places of interest. During its construction a precious archeological finding was discovered - the base of one of the towers of the first stronghold of the antique town of Odesos, which was build over a Thracian settlement. The find dates 4 century BC and is now a part of the Temple of the Wine…

There is a wine specialist in the Temple who promotes our collection of wines that have been delivered from all over the country, and tells the visitors the history of our old city as well as legends about wine production from Thracian, Greek and Roman times to present day.

Visitors have the chance to acquaint themselves with the art of tasting wines as well as some basic principals of wine consumption.

Our guests will have the opportunity to experience the overwhelming atmosphere of the past ages, learning information as well as tasting the best ever wines produced in Bulgaria. And everything that has gained their approval is available in the shop Centre of Wine.
